Our server, webwork.uwstout.edu, is offline from 2pm today, June 22nd for some maintenance.

Scheduled webwork server maintenance: Saturday, February 15th between 10am-11am

The UW-Stout WeBWorK server, webwork.uwstout.edu, might be unavailable for short periods of time (about 20 minutes) Saturday, February 15th, between 10-11am while scheduled maintenance is being performed.

UW-Stout WeBWorK server was offline from about 2:46pm January 28th until 7:43am January 29th

An update to the previous post: UW-Stout WeBWorK server, webwork.uwstout.edu, was offline from 2:46pm January 28th until about 7:42am today, January 29th.

There was a power outage from 2:46pm-6:37pm January 28th in the building housing the server. However, network connectivity to the server was restored only this morning.

With Jarvis Hall Science Wing without power on UW-Stout campus (as of 3:34pm CST), our webwork server, webwork.uwstout.edu is currently offline. The server is likely to remain offline throughout this afternoon.

Our WeBWorK server, webwork.uwstut.edu, was offline from 5:24am-6:27am today, August 10th. This was due to electrical outage in Jarvis Hall Science Wing building on UW-Stout campus.

Planned outage: Friday, August 2nd from 8:45am-5pm CDT

Our WeBWorK server, webwork.uwstout.edu, will be offline this Friday, August 2nd from 8:45am until about 5pm CDT as we move the server back into Jarvis Hall Science Wing. We originally had to evacuate the server due to flooding of building basement.

Our WeBWorK server is online. We had to change the physical location of the server due to water damage in Jarvis Hall.

WeBWorK server is down due to Jarvis Hall being without power

We had a strong thunderstorm last night (June 21st), and the basement of Jarvis Hall got flooded. It looks like the entire building was taken offline and it is now without any power, as the workers are pumping water out of the basement.

There is no estimate as to when the server will be back online, as the workers do not know how long would it take to deal with water damage. It might be tomorrow (June 23rd) when the power is restored.

Server maintenance 10am-3pm today

Our WeBWorK server, webwork.uwstout.edu is undergoing some routine maintenance today from 10am until about 3pm. This will be updated when the maintenance is completed.

Update: the work was completed at 2:25pm.

UW-Stout webwork server is offline due to power outage

UW-Stout webwork server at webwork.uwstout.edu will be offline from 11am Friday, June 29th until about 9am Monday, July 2nd due to campus-wide power outage.

Campuswide internet outage

There seems to be a campuswide internet outage at UW-Stout now, and our webwork server, webwork.uwstout.edu, is not currently available as well as lots of other Stout sites.

Update: the outage was over at 11:40am. The outage lasted from about 8am until 11:40am June 7th, 2012

Planned Power Outage: 4:30pm Friday until Saturday morning

There is a planned power outage in the building housing our webwork server. So, the webwork.uwstout.edu server is going to be offline from 4:30pm Friday, June 1st until morning of June 2nd (Saturday).

At 5:44pm CDT, server webwork.uwstout.edu seems to be unavailable, as well as most of UW-Stout websites. Most likely, there is something wrong with campus networking.
